How To Measure

There are 4 key areas to measure when fitting swimwear. To achieve an accurate measurement we recommend wearing minimal clothing when measuring and holding the measuring tape straight and parallel to the floor.

Bust: Measure the fullest area of your bust and straight around your back, while standing with your arms down.

Waist: Measure the smallest section of your waist.

Hips: Putting your feet together, measure the fullest part of your hips.

Torso: Run a tape measure full circle from a point on the shoulder midway between the neck and the shoulder, over the fullest part of the bust, down between your legs and back up to the starting point. Hint: start with the tape measure going over the back and up through the crotch for easier measuring.

Expert Tips

Swimwear fits differently than clothing, select your size using your bra and pant measurements.

Lycra swimwear should be snug as swimwear will relax out up to a full size once worn in the water and will stay stretched. 100% Polyester swimwear does not relax out with wear so choose a comfortable fit.

Love It!!!

I had another identical bathing suit from Swimco and was so pleased to see this one so I could replace it. I have so many Swimco suits that it took me a while to get to this one. It is perfect, fits well and I am very happy with it.

I like it and it fits perfectly.

Swimsuit fit

I bought this suit and it fits perfectly everywhere except the bottom. I find that my bottom isn’t covered enough especially at the front. It also feels like it’s short & I don’t have a long torso.

Great product and helpful staff

I called Swimco in Calgary since BC doesn’t have one anymore. The staff I spoke to was amazingly helpful by phone and email response to find the cut and size I was looking for. My previous suite was the same style I bought at Swimco a few years ago. As a senior, I like a v neck that doesn’t show cleavage and the v cut in the back covers back fat or skin overhang. The leg cut is nice nice and normal. It’s a simple cut but makes me feel comfortable at aquafit classes. This suit style works best for me!
