Our February Feel Good Routine

Our February Feel Good Routine

Try out this feel good daily routine.

You probably don’t even realize how your daily routine can affect the way you feel. Your energy has a massive impact on feeling good and raising your vibration. Living in high vibration means that you will attract high vibe things into your life. And who doesn’t want to feel good?

One of the biggest ways you can feel good is to take time for self-care. With so much going on in our lives like taking care of the kids, getting dinner on the table, working, cleaning the house… we can often forget to take a moment for ourselves. And the risk of not taking care of yourself is not feeling good. We often rely on others to help us feel good, to make us happy. But this is something only we can do for ourselves and it starts with taking time for yourself each day. Even if it’s only 30 minutes or an hour. Don’t be willing to give up the time you need to fill up your own cup.

Here’s a daily routine that might resonate with you and help you feel good, inspired by Gabby Bernstein.

  1. Meditation

Start your morning by clearing out any anxiety or anger you are holding onto. This will help you head into your day feeling open to receiving, high vibe and feeling good. One way to do this is through meditation. Meditation reduces stress, controls anxiety, enhances self-awareness, improves your mood and helps you focus. If you’re a beginner in meditation a great app to support your journey is Headspace. You might also want to try the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). EFT is a powerful way to clear anxiety, anger and help you feel free through tapping. A great resource is Tapping with Brad Yates.

  2. Exercise!

Movement is a lubricant for not only your body but your soul as well. This can be as simple as going for a walk, or doing 20 minutes of yoga in your living room (we love Yoga with Adriene. Or you might find time to hit up a boxing or spin class… even a running group. Just something to get you moving. You will not only feel physically good, but you’ll feel good inside too and that’s where it all starts.

  3. Writing

Writing can be an amazing way to release and clear resistance. It’s a great way to set an intention for the day and attract what you want throughout the day. Writing about how you want your day to flow releases your intention to the universe. How do you want to feel today? How do you want to impact others today? What do you want to receive? Give? The key with journaling is to focus on how you want to feel which will help you take actions throughout the day to feel this way. It will even shift the thoughts you think.

  4. Consistency

Be consistent. Once you’ve established your daily routine, be consistent with it. Make it a habit. A practice. Don’t wait for your outside circumstances to dictate how you feel. You can access good feeling emotions all throughout the day so it becomes your default state. When you make feeling good a priority, everything else will flow.

Even though it may feel selfish, feeling good is a priority. Think about a day spent with your kids where you were irritable, frustrated or annoyed. It’s likely that you weren’t focused on feeling good that day. When we choose to feel good, everything else follows. By making this choice, the other people in your life will want to work to feel good right along with you.
