The beauty of pregnancy is incomparable; you are creating a new life that will change yours forever. Before baby shows up the first of many noticeable changes will be with your body, and we’re here to make sure you are confident and comfortable in your swimwear during your pregnancy. See below for our recommendations and if you do have more questions please don’t hesitate to contact us.
If you’re not ready to show off that bump, a one-piece or tankini provides great coverage. You will likely need a new top, so look for swimwear with adjustable straps and bands to accommodate those changes. Your regular bottoms are good for now!
You’re a little further along now and you may find some swimwear restricting. Again, look for tops with soft and adjustable bands and straps, stay away from underwire to keep comfortable. For bottoms, adjustable tie sides and something with a low rise will work for your changing body. One pieces are still an option; try an open back or long torso style to allow more of the suit to stretch around your front. Avoid "Tummy Taming" swimwear and note that polyester suits won’t stretch.
You are almost there! At this point a bikini will give you the most comfort, let the belly be free. You may need to size up in the bottoms, but if you have your adjustable top you should be able to loosen those straps along the way. Don’t worry, we have one piece and tankini options here for you too.
Congratulations, momma! We know your time is valuable so let’s get to the point. The best tops have light padding, and are easily adjustable for changes in breast size and quick access for those breastfeeding. For bottoms, soft bands with a higher waist give you support and coverage. Now go be a super mom, and don’t forget to always Feel Good Half Naked.
