What do you want people to know about you?

My goal is always to create content that stays true to me and my brand and inspires others to be bold with their own style.

What are you hoping to achieve with your social following and with your relationships to your followers?

I hope that my Instagram and YouTube inspires my followers to take bold risks with their own makeup looks and style, and encourages them to be confident in their own skin. My big dream is to start my own beauty brand one day!

How do you hope to connect with the people that follow you?

I tell a story through every photo, story, and video I publish on my channels. In every piece of my content I hope to inspire my followers to love themselves and be confident despite the media’s unrealistic expectations.

We selected you for this campaign because they believe your life is aspirational. What do you feel makes your life aspirational? Why did you decide to participate in this campaign?

I think my work ethic and passion makes my life aspirational. I am constantly evolving and looking to improve. Social media and the fashion/beauty industry can be very harsh and overwhelming. It’s important to be confident and stay true to your own values in order to find success in this industry. I decided to be part of this campaign because this brand promotes exactly that- to love your body and be confident in your own skin. Swimco as a brand is very inspirational and is a company that I admire and am extremely honoured to work with!

What did you enjoy about working with Swimco on this campaign?

The people – the whole Swimco team was amazing! Each team member was very welcoming and loving. I honestly felt at home and felt like I had another family! This was the first time I had done a shoot outside of Toronto but I can say it was the most comfortable soot that I have ever done. Every single person was incredibly warm and made it extremely easy for me to let loose and be carefree on set. The whole team exudes confidence and warmth and I received tremendous love from every single one of the members!

This whole experience has been a dream and I appreciate every moment. I am so thankful to have met the team and to be part of a campaign that has such an inspiring and powerful message. I believe this experience has allowed me to be part of something that is much greater than me. This campaign will impact people in a special way and I am so proud to be part of it!

Did you discover anything about yourself?

I discovered that I was much more comfortable being in a bikini than I thought! I was actually very nervous about the shoot as I had never done a shoot for swimwear but it was very easy for me to model the products. I felt very comfortable in each swimsuit and found a whole other level of confidence that I had never felt before!

If you could say one thing to someone who may not be confident with their body, what would it be?

It takes hard work to love yourself and your body in this day and age. It is perfectly normal to not be confident with how you look, especially with the current social media that is blasted at you every day. When you wake up, don’t try to change yourself to find approval from others. Work hard improve yourself YOU and YOU only. Love yourself and take care of yourself and that’s when you will find confidence!
