How To Measure

There are 4 key areas to measure when fitting swimwear. To achieve an accurate measurement we recommend wearing minimal clothing when measuring and holding the measuring tape straight and parallel to the floor.

Bust: Measure the fullest area of your bust and straight around your back, while standing with your arms down.

Waist: Measure the smallest section of your waist.

Hips: Putting your feet together, measure the fullest part of your hips.

Torso: Run a tape measure full circle from a point on the shoulder midway between the neck and the shoulder, over the fullest part of the bust, down between your legs and back up to the starting point. Hint: start with the tape measure going over the back and up through the crotch for easier measuring.

Expert Tips

Swimwear fits differently than clothing, select your size using your bra and pant measurements.

Lycra swimwear should be snug as swimwear will relax out up to a full size once worn in the water and will stay stretched. 100% Polyester swimwear does not relax out with wear so choose a comfortable fit.

I’m SO happy with this suit! Finally, the perfect suit for an active day at the lake. I didn’t have to adjust it at all after swimming or chasing my kids around! The fit is good, I would say true to my most common size in other brands.

New swimsuit

I just bought another swimsuit from you for swimming in the pool which I do 4-5 days a week. When I am near a Swimco store I will go in to see what I can find but that is not very often so most of my purchasing is online and I have so far never had a complaint. The last suit I bout for the pool has lasted me two years and I can still wear it. I am hoping this one does the same as it fits great.

After tries with other brands, I finally have a very good fit. Service from Swimco is excellent as well. I am a happy camper. I have not yet tried my second suit in the pool but will when the snow closures at my pool are over!
