How To Measure

There are 4 key areas to measure when fitting swimwear. To achieve an accurate measurement we recommend wearing minimal clothing when measuring and holding the measuring tape straight and parallel to the floor.

Bust: Measure the fullest area of your bust and straight around your back, while standing with your arms down.

Waist: Measure the smallest section of your waist.

Hips: Putting your feet together, measure the fullest part of your hips.

Torso: Run a tape measure full circle from a point on the shoulder midway between the neck and the shoulder, over the fullest part of the bust, down between your legs and back up to the starting point. Hint: start with the tape measure going over the back and up through the crotch for easier measuring.

Expert Tips

Swimwear fits differently than clothing, select your size using your bra and pant measurements.

Lycra swimwear should be snug as swimwear will relax out up to a full size once worn in the water and will stay stretched. 100% Polyester swimwear does not relax out with wear so choose a comfortable fit.

Hand wash swimsuit after each use in cold water with a cap full of swimwear cleaner
Let swimsuit sit for five minutes, and rinse
Lay swimsuit flat to dry, away from direct sunlight
Do not wring or roll up swimsuit when wet
Do not put swimsuit in washer or dryer, including a spin dryer at the pool
For bright suits, pre-wash with swimwear cleaner before first use to set colours

Cute & useful

I love these shorts. Bought them for a trip to Mexico and they were the best bathing suit bottoms I brought. They’re flattering, provide good coverage and the zipper pocket is great. I kept my hotel key card and credit card in there. Very useful!

Thankful for the draw string

I ordered size 6. They fit true the thigh and hip, but were loose in the waste. Definitely not the compression fit that is advertised.Thankfully there is a draw string. Note: my sister, who is smaller than me, ordered a size 8 (same size chart) of the Indy Swim Short Bottom (5653630) and they fit. Sizing varies greatly with style.
